Murray Girls (with babies) at Calverton Swim Club
Me, Kellen, Katie, Lucy, Laura, Haley and Josie!

Today we went down to Calverton to go to Aunt La La and Uncle Corey's pool. We met up with Aunt Ti Ti, Emily and Lucy too - so it was a bunch of fun.
Special Thank You to Aunt La La and Uncle Corey for having us. And we all thought the new improvements to the house look AWESOME!

The kids had a great time at the pool. Colleen and Kellen had to adjust to the cold water temperatures......but after that, it was hard to get them out. Colleen really enjoyed going into the big kid pool and playing with Uncle Corey. They both enjoyed getting treats at the snack bar!

The only thing that Kellen didn't really like was when I was holding and playing with Haley and Josie! He just cried "MaMa" - it was pretty funny.

Football Season is Here!

Kellen ready to spike it!

Kids fighting over who holds the football
Kellen wins!

The college football season has officially started!
First thing Saturday morning, we got the kids dressed up in their Clemson outfits. Colleen was very happy to wear her cheerleader outfit again (I am so glad it still fits!) and Kellen fit nicely in Colleen's paw t-shirt.
Then we tried teaching the kids the C-L-E-M-S-O-N cheer. Colleen can do it - since she knew how to spell Clemson before Colleen.....but Kellen is still too young.....but he knows how to pause for the "O"!
Congrats to Uncle Tony's East Carolina Pirates who pulled the upset win over Virginia Tech this weekend. I know Uncle Tony had a great time at the game and we can't wait to hear all about it!
Too bad the Tigers couldn't pull out a win. Hopefully this game was just a fluke!
Other important news.......Kellen learned how to climb out of his crib! We are in trouble now!

Colleen is ready for Soccer and T-Ball

Colleen trying on her new hat
Looks like she is tipping her hat in this one
Colleen showing off her #4 jersey she picked because she is 4 years old!
I don't know where she learned the tipping of her hat - but she keeps doing it
Colleen excited to get her princess baseball set
Colleen was SO happy - just look at her face
Kellen trying to play golf with the baseball set

"Want to play catch?"

Colleen excited to get her new soccer ball
Kellen enjoys seeing the new soccer ball too

Now Kellen gets a turn trying on the hat.

We signed Colleen up to play Soccer and T-Ball this Fall.
Soccer games will be on Saturdays and T-Ball will be on Sundays. The best part about T-Ball is that Jeff is going to be one of her coaches.

We picked up a few things a while ago and were going to hold them out for Christmas, but since she will be needed them soon - we decided to give them to her early. She got a princess bat, ball and glove set and also a soccer ball and backpack.

Colleen LOVED both of them and she also enjoyed being able to pick out her number for t-ball.

Last Day of Summer Camp

Colleen showing off her ring and earrings
Now she has the ring on her ear
I hope this isn't a sign of things to come in the future!
Surprising Kellen in the play kitchen
Look at that big belly!

The kids had their last day of summer camp on Wednesday. The summer camp is at the same day care, they just call it camp and the kids get to go on field trips and things.
Colleen was so excited for her last day - so I let her wear a dress, stick on earrings and a ring. You can see from the pictures she found some interesting places to put the ring.
Kellen had fun on his last day too. You can see from his big belly shots that he enjoyed the party they had in his class.

Colleen and her teacher Ms. Kristin

Colleen has been taking ballet classes all summer long and this week was her last class.
She really had a great time, so we will see about taking ballet in the winter. But for now she is excited to start gymnastics, soccer and tee ball in the Fall.
Jeff is even going to be her coach for tee ball!
Kellen is going to be doing gymnastics at the same time Colleen has class. He will be taking the Parent N' Child class - so I get to do it with him!

Colleen's decorating

Colleen decided to decorate her room the other night.

You can see from the pictures, she put her dolls and blankets all over her room.

I guess she gets that from me! I love decorating!

Sleeping Kids

The kids were sleeping so peacefully the other night, I couldn't resist taking their pictures.

Colleen decided the floor was better than her bed and Kellen looked like an angel

Colleen's special trip with Aunt LaLa and Kiely

Colleen and Kiely working on their project

Josie and Haley - almost 9 months old

Aunt LaLa called yesterday morning and asked if she could pick up Colleen from daycare and take her, along with Kiely, to Barnes and Noble Bookstore to hear a reading of "Fancy Nancy". I agreed knowing that Colleen would be so excited to spend some time with her Aunt and cousin.

I have never heard of the book, Fancy Nancy, but Laura said Kiely loves it and Colleen would probably enjoy it too.

Colleen must have been very surprised to see her Aunt and cousin at her school. She loved the special trip and really loved the butterfly coloring activity they did after the story was finished.

Above is a picture Laura sent out today from the trip. Looks like both girls are very involved in their work.

Aunt LaLa and Kiely also stopped by to see Kellen. He didn't recognize them (from what I was told) but Kellen's teachers really enjoyed meeting them and commented how wonderful Kiely interacted with Kellen - giving lots of kisses.

I also attached a picture of Josie and Haley. I can't believe they are going to be 9 months old! The picture is so cute, I couldn't resist putting it up!

Truck!

"Look, truck"
"Don't worry Emily, it won't scoop us up"
Jeff carrying the girls home

Sunday afternoon, we took the kids to the school so they could play at the playground. When we got there we found some huge construction trucks there and Kellen LOVED them.

We took a few pictures of the kids with the trucks.
The girls were so tired after playing at the playground, that they both said they couldn't walk home and Jeff ended up carrying them both!
