Since it was Colleen's birthday, we let her pick where she wanted to eat.

Colleen selected Carrabba's. She loves going there because they give her dough she can play with....add salt, pepper and other things too.....and then they bake it for her.

She had a really great time and really loved getting a special ice cream sundae with a cherry on top!

After we came home we had lots of birthday phone calls. Thanks so much for calling Aunt Ti Ti & Emily, Uncle Tony, Hutchcroft Family, Grandmommies, Aunt Suzanne, Aunt Eileen, Grammy and Aunt Sue & Ben.

Next we had birthday cake. Colleen wanted a rainbow cake - aka a cake with rainbow sprinkles. Then we also let her have one more present - princess dress up shoes!

All in all it was a VERY fun day and Colleen had a great time. She didn't even make a peep when her head hit the pillow!

Colleen turned 4 years old today!

Can you believe it? Time has been flying by so quickly!

The day started out with the whole family waking Colleen up by singing Happy Birthday. Then Colleen got special cinnamon rolls. Colleen was also able to open a few presents and some birthday cards. She got a drawing table (from Mommy & Daddy) and a magic mirror (from Kellen)

At lunch time, I went to Colleen's school and dropped her off a special birthday lunch - a McDonald's Happy Meal.

At 3pm, I went back to Colleen's school for her party. Colleen was having a joint birthday party with her friend Sarah B. I got both girls balloons and tiaras and Sarah's parents provided the cupcakes and rings. Then after the cupcakes, Jeff put on a "magic" show for all the kids. Colleen loved every minute of it!

Orioles Opening Day

Today was the Orioles Opening Day at Camden Yards.

Kellen wore his Orioles shirt to give a little support to the hometown team......but unfortunately, it didn't work and the O's lost to Tampa Bay!

Saturday Night Fun

During the day, we took Colleen to Blockbuster and let her pick out her own movie to watch.

Barbie Mariposa was her selection.

After Kellen went to bed, we had a popcorn party and watched the Barbie movie on the big screen tv in the basement.

Colleen LOVED it and had a great time. She loves having popcorn parties!

We decided to keep up the fun "Colleen Birthday Weekend" and take the kids to the Maryland Science Center.

Jeff and I have both been to the science center before, but I don't think either one of us had been in MANY years. But we both remembered how much fun it was, so we knew it would be a great place to take the kids on a nice Saturday afternoon.

When we first arrived, we went to Newton's Alley, where Colleen and Kellen went running from one experiment to another.

Next we tackled dinosaurs. Both kids enjoyed digging for fossils and looking at the huge dinosaur bones.

We then decided to head up to the planetarium, where as luck would have it, we were just in time for the next show. We were worried that the kids wouldn't be able to sit through the entire 20 minute show, but we were VERY surprised! The show was based around Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, so Colleen was hooked. Kellen was hooked after he spotted a very pretty, 20 yr old girl sitting in the row behind us. He spent the entire time flirting with her.

We ended our tour with the Kid's Room. Colleen had a blast and can't wait to go back again. She loved the submarine, water play area and being on "tv". Kellen just loved everything. It was hard to keep up with him.

Random Funnies

Here are some random funnies from the kids.

Kellen is always trying to swim in the bathtub. He lays down on his tummy, kicks his feet and then puts his face in the water. Little did we know, he was putting his face in the water to eat the bubbles!

We found Colleen sleeping like this the other night. We aren't sure how she didn't fall out of bed. I am just glad that I went in to find her before anything happened.

One other funny Colleen comment. We were saying our prayers and I said that she needs to say prayers slowly because God - "He is listening."

Colleen quickly corrects me and says "Mom......God - She is listening"

Friday Night Fun

Since Colleen's birthday is coming up tomorrow, we decided to spend the whole weekend doing fun things.

Friday night started everything off.

We picked up the kids early from school and took them to the indoor pool. They both LOVED it. Kellen had no fear in the water - which scares me a lot! Colleen loved swimming around and even humored me when I asked her to practice her kicking and blowing bubbles.

After the pool we decided to take the kids out to dinner. We opted for Rocky Run.

You can see from the pictures, Kellen had a wonderful time eating his mac and cheese. Colleen was so hungry from her swimming, she actually ate an entire kids pizza!

The Line Up - Emily, Kiely, Colleen and Ben

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter holiday!

We had a great time on Easter. Most of the family came over to the house for a nice lunch, egg hunt and birthday celebrations.

We missed Grandmommies, Mr. Lou, Uncle Tony, Aunt Suzanne, Aunt Eileen and Uncle Matt.

The day started out with Kellen and Colleen racing downstairs to see if the Easter Bunny had visited. They were so excited to see their baskets full of presents and candy. Then they realized that the Easter Bunny had also hidden eggs for them to find. Eggs full of money. Colleen was so excited! She was having a little trouble finding her eggs, and it was funny to see Kellen finding them for her!

After church, we raced back home to get ready for the family gathering.

When the whole family arrived, we started the kids Easter Egg Hunt in the basement....where Emily found the golden egg!

We also had birthday celebrations for all the March cousins birthdays......Kiely 21st, Ben 25th and Colleen 31st.

All in all it was a really fun day!
